Abstract:

Characteristics of newly developed environmentally friendly biocomposites based on PVA-lactose and/or PVA calcium lactete are reported in this paper. The presence of both modifiers in PVA matric improves both mechanical properties of polymeric composites and biodegradability in aquatic environment.
